Shrining with your Siblings

Post by Destinie »

I was talking to my little sister today about our old blogs and I came across this gem while doing a google search: http://t.co/9v4BXKDzta

My sister used to make shrines with me and our first shrines were Digimon sites. She was a big Gabumon/Matt fan back in the day. It looks like I actually made this layout for her. I used to have this proud feeling of being a sister duo that made websites! She doesn't make sites anymore, unfortunately. :(

I know we have some other sister shriners here~ (Snow and Cherri)! Any others? Does anyone have fond memories from making sites with their siblings? If not siblings, then maybe a sister or brother from another mother? :P

I've tried getting my sister into it but all attempts so far have failed. :(

I have tried to get my significant other to make a site with me, if that counts? He actually is on board for one. I'm pretty excited.

I don't have any siblings, and most of the people in my life outside the computer don't do webdesign, so I've never had the opportunity to collaborate. Definitely interested in collaboration, though!! :D

Well as most people know, Samantha and I are sisters! She is the reason I got into web design and anime/video games in general! So glad she did and that I looked up to her and wanted to get involved in things she liked, too! We sometimes have nights where we stay up really late and eat food and work on sites or play games. I am so happy to have that type of bonding with her! :D We motivate each other as well to get sites done and we send each other our layouts before they are seen by the public eye! It's awesome.
please know that i am yours to keep, my beautiful girl.

Awwww I just saw this!

I love being able to make sites with Megan--it's definitely a motivator. Especially if we are making sites to something from the same series! One of these days we will make a joint project, I'm sure... And it'll be awesome!

Shrine making with siblings sounds really awesome! I have a sister but I don't think I'll ever manage to drag her into it since she sees it as some kind of waste of time :'D + writing in content in English isn't really her thing either

Aww!

You bring up a really good point that I don't know if it has ever been discussed here; shrines in other languages. I think this needs to be talked about. xD
