Wow, i got blown away with this approach to Elsa, which is really different. Nice work done on the content, loved reading it and it was really interesting... now I just would need to move my butt and work on my Olaf shrine that I'm trying to do for over a year <o<

Anyway all this to say: great job robin!

Thank you Saya! ^o^

(I'm also working on an Olaf shrine, but like Gifted, it'll be a little different--can't wait to see what you come up with!)

Oh Robin... ;_; I couldn't even make it past "Real Life Elsa" without coming back here to comment because it totally hit home with me. All my report cards from back when I was Alan's age all said the same thing... "disrupts other students," "talks too much," "not owning up to full potential" etc. I wish I had a teacher like you when I was in school! (Fun fact, girls often go overlooked for ADHD because they typically aren't as disruptive as boys are, at least not in the same way. Blah!)

Ok I read more, LOL. Really interesting approach to a shrine for Elsa, I really enjoyed reading it. :D It is definitely a different perspective to the entire movie that I don't think people really notice. I love it! <3

I also can't believe I haven't commented on this before but I think that I wasn't around for when you posted this. XD (It's also weird I have seen your Olaf shrine but didn't get around to seeing this... LOL wtfidk??)

@Laura: *HUGS* I feel ya! I had a few of those marks on my permanent record throughout the years too xD And definitely, girls' ADHD gets overlooked soooo much because ours generally manifests as "daydreaming" or "inattention" rather than physical hyperactivity.

And awwwwww that is so sweet of you to say you wish you had had a teacher like me! ;_; In a way I'm sorry to have had to leave teaching because I felt like I was doing SOME good some days, but the environment was highly pressurized and stressful (and now that I know I have PTSD, that stress makes me wonder how I survived as long as I did without quitting). I generally work better one-on-one with students anyway, so teaching a crowd was VERY hard :C. (There needs to be a "consulting kid whisperer" position in schools, where they could call me in for an analysis of what's going on with a troubled/struggling kid or something. ...LOL I'm over here like modern-day Sherlock inventing job titles xD)

I'm so glad you liked the shrine and that it's not too out in left field! xD (I plan to work on Olaf's site too sometime this month, so that its quality matches the quality of Gifted and the other shrines I've been doing :D)

Yeah, teaching is definitely a stressful environment... especially these days, I imagine. D: So I don't blame you for leaving it, especially if you have PTSD! But some kind of child-whisperer position... that'd be awesome! LOL!! I think sometimes that kind of consulting needs to be done because I'm not sure teachers are really qualified to know if kids have mental health issues or not. Esp if they are just starting out!

I definitely did enjoy the shrine. :) It's a very different look at the character that I never would have thought about. <3 I'd be looking forward to seeing the Olaf updates too!

@Laura: Yeah, modern-day teachers definitely have enough on their plates without trying to determine if a single student is truly mentally ill or just acting out to control others...there were so many I saw that I wanted to help and knew that I just DIDN'T have the time at all, and it was such a shame. Those I saw, I tried to alert counselors and social workers about, but so much flies under the radar when it feels you have to teach/police/babysit/market/advocate all at once. Bleh. But I think the few success stories I have (like Alan's) help me make sense of that time and help me feel less like a failbus (LOL).

(As for the Olaf shrine, I started on it, but I am still trying to figure out what to add to it. It needs more but not sure exactly what. LOL)
