Hello and welcome to another Shrine Spotlight! I want to thank Eimii, Chibi, Mayumi, Kiel, and holy knight for their nominations. There were so many wonderful shrines to choose from, it was not an easy task. But one shrine stood out to me, and that is the winner of the August 2014 Shrine Spotlight. I'm happy to present...

DIVIDE
Larissa's shrine to Squall Leonhart of Final Fantasy VIII

Larissa's DIVIDE is a stunning dedication. While I'm not familiar with any FF game, that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the site and getting to know Squall. One thing I really love about DIVIDE is how Larissa presents the information. She explores Squall's character, which includes everything from his personality to relationships, in chronological order of the game. This unique setup, the amount of information, and the fact that Larissa injects such humor and insight into every page, are what make DIVIDE a site worth honoring.

It is something I never thought to do. I love that Larissa injected a lot of her thoughts on the story as she discussed Squall as well.
