Life and Aether - FFXIVV shrine (for Fictional Worlds)

Post by Saya »

life and aether
Final Fantasy XIV Shrine
Right now I am in the middle of writing the content, and as on twitter you guys probably saw my attempts of dividing it in something that would be easier to write.

My main problem is that I end writing it tired and I have no idea how it is coming out.

For now pages done (universe; geography and warrior of light are clickable pages):
  • - Universe
    - Hydaelyn
    - The Twelve (just half of it; brainstorming how to do the presentation of gods/goddesses)
    - History (it's the section I am writing right now slowly when I have those 5 mins to sit down and actually do write)
    - Geography
    - Warrior of Light
Also there are some galleries under Media that work.

I will be adding the images to the walls of text later on when I get time to actually scan or find the ones that could go well with them AND same goes for the sliders XD

Ooooooo looks very pretty so far, and organized! That title font tho <3<3<3

I feel ya on the walls of text phenomenon--I always feel that way about my sites before I add pics, LOL. The sentences do run a little long in most of the content so far, but as you said, it's hard to edit or even write when you're tired beyond belief! (Currently battling that with...um...all my projects this year? ^_^;)

Let me know if I can help with editing or just being a sounding board--hit me up on Discord or a PM or anything ^_^

I feel ya on the "adding images later" thing (that's what I'm doing on my Construction Zone site too xD).

Also, if you would still like me to look for typos, I'd be glad to! I can email you the list instead of posting it here :D

Dude, this is so much information. I can appreciate how much work this must have been to produce, especially in the context of an ambitious lore project -- and I love the clean layout yet with nice pops of imagery. In particular, I really liked the work on the Pantheon. (I played the game for a hot second, and this was the part that was the most intriguing to me from the getgo. I very much appreciate the even-handed description of all the deities - I tend to find a favorite ^^; )

Anyway I added
