Unspend - a new perspective on money, spending, and happiness
This is another of my one-page GIF-heavy sites, but I've been writing/revising it for the last couple of months. Check it out--this has to do with a 2015 resolution that I was able to keep in full, and it became a mindset-changing thing for me!

This is a cute little site! Unfortunately, I have the OPPOSITE problem. I've recently been getting better, ahahaa!
Re: Unspend
Love it! The gifs are great. I think the thing about buying things for other people is good too. In my family we usually go out together (which may involve spending money but not on stuff) instead of buying gifts at birthdays and such.

Re: Unspend
@Nyx: I feel ya! The pull to "buy buy buy," especially during the holiday season, has been SUPER strong, but I have resisted! (well, so far, LOL). (also, "buy buy buy" reminds me of this song)
@Destinie: Thank you! And what is the opposite problem? *curious* :D
@Anise: That is awesome! I wish I'd thought to do that sooner in my life--it's so much more fun to get together and do stuff as a friend group or family.

Very fun site, Robin! I like how you are able to combine useful advice with humor. :)

@Sarah: Thank you! :D The GIFs seem to make it lots more fun to read and less "OMG TEXT OMG ADVICE" xD
Re: Unspend
I had the same exact problem. Now I ask myself "Do you REALLLLLLY want/need it?" Usually the answer is no and my parents have noticed too.
It's helped big time too after I got freelance work since I know how my parents feel when I've asked beforehand if I could ___. Now it's "Nah gonna save up for something that I realllllly want."
Never had a problem with spending on things for friends, though that's because I don't live near them XD

I accept your challenge, "high prince", but I am no general.
