Presenting the duo of shrines for my Dynamic Duo challenge, shrines to Eva and Sparda of Devil May Cry fame!!!
I'm pretty damn proud of these, considering there is nearly no canon information on Eva despite her being the mother of Dante and Vergil, and nearly nothing on Sparda.
This was a nice, cohesive read! You have a succinct, conversational writing style that makes reading the content pleasant against layouts that are easy on the eyes. I'm not canon familiar, but I enjoyed perusing both shrines all the same. I didn't feel lost or overwhelmed; there's just the right amount of info.
Congratulations!
A quick note: Under "Trish" in Seeds of Love, I think you meant to write "Heel Face Turn," unless what you've got there is meant to be a pun.
I'm not familiar with Devil May Cry, but I really like any kind of tribute or meta to minor characters, characters who are a big background influence, and character with very little data! Your Eva shrine was very pleasant to read and I feel like you laid out her role well while connecting all the bits of information; I particularly enjoyed what you said about Trish and Eva being entrusted with the amulet. :>
The quotes at the top of the page from third person perspective are really great introductions, especially since so much of the information contained on both characters is relayed through other people.
Lovely shrine names btw! <3
Both despair and ecstasy are part of the elements that compose a person.
You should be proud!! It takes a lot of intuitive effort to pull off a shrine for such minor characters! I love it! I have zero knowledge of the series and games, but I feel like I walked away with an understanding of who Eva and Sparda were, and a whooole different perspective of Dante and Vergil.
