I used to review doujinshis and I have received mails from Japanese doujinshikas asking me to take down the samples of the art I had put up (just one or two pages) because they didn't like having their books in the hands of a foreigner and reposted on the net. I would be very hesitant to use anything that is not official material.
Wow, really? They actually contacted you because they didn't like a "foreigner" owning a copy of the doujin? WTF. Talk about xenophobic... That'd actually make me want to keep the artwork up, LOL.

You can try contacting them like some do by asking if you can use their work http://raspomme.tumblr.com/post/69226532697
I accept your challenge, "high prince", but I am no general.

Cool resource. :) I guess this wouldn't really be an option for older stuff where you can't find the contact info. In that case, it's likely best to not have anything at all (other than maybe just a cover scan and summary maybe).
