My sister showed the trailer to me yesterday! It looks awesome in 3D and such! And I agree, the fire starter looks so cute! I hope the final stage of it is just as awesome. I usually start with water pokemon for some reason, but this time if i buy the game i'd definitely start with fire!

Also I miss the little sprites too but I'm not mad about the style change....currently. I mostly happy cause it looks like it's in a new region or at least that's what I'm hoping.
It is in a new region, apparently this time it's based on France or just generally Europe.
and I hope they're not dicks about it and don't end up being really offensive as they did with certain really racist characters in BW

I never notice either! Thanks for pointing that out.
Also, yay, I get to go to Europe (it's in pokemon but yay). I'm looking forward to the new pokemon. My dad thinks they took some of the new pokemon too far, like Vullaby or Trubish (yes it's b/w but still). Hopefully they don't come up with some type of toliet paper pokemon (my dad is convinced they will). And it's pretty awesome you can catch pikachu in the grass again.

@Todd Not to mention, there was something REALLY iffy that a Cotton Pokemon (Cottonee) was only in the Black version, and the Southern Belle Pokemon was only in the White (Lilligant, I forgot the pre-evo name though, haha).
I actually don't know too much about French culture, so I'm excited to see how this one will go. <3

I actually like the fire starter best. Not fond of the water one, don't like frogs. Looking forward to seeing the new Pokemon... I actually liked the icecream from gen 5, maybe they'll have a cookie. ;) I hope they don't overload with legendaries.

@Varen, Petilil evolves to Lilligant.
@Mikari, I used Vanillite. It was so cute but it wasn't as cute when it evolved so I didn't like it as much. I hope there isn't a ton of legendaries too.

Speaking of racist in BW- Clay, anyone?
I'm not a fan of any of the new starter Pokemon. :\ I'm in the boat with everyone else who is waiting to see what their evolutions look like.
I'm wondering if they're going to do what they did for Gen 5 and do a completely new set of 150 Pokemon? Or is it going to be like the previous versions where they introduce a few and build off the previous designs? It seemed to me that they wanted to do some sort of "reboot" with Gen 5 but I think it'd be awesome to see a new set of 150.
I also think they need to cut back on all the legendaries. At this point, I just use them in my game and ignore the fact they are supposed to be "legendaries". (I use Victini and Keldeo in White2 xD). I just boxed my starter Pokemon too because I don't like the Gen 5 starters either. :\
