Nah, I didn't think you were. You're definitely not alone in disliking Tingle though. There's a reason why a lot of Westerners find Tingle very annoying. I guess sometimes cultural preferences don't cross boundaries.

It may or may not. However, Tingle's more aligned with Japanese cultural preferences of humor and his actions aren't as amusing to Western cultural preferences of humor.

That's really interesting - I've never liked Tingle, and I kinda thought he'd be universally disliked. I never even considered cultural differences, but it seems obvious now that it's been pointed out to me. I just googled this and I like that there's actually a trope named after him.

I never really thought of cultural differences either. Not something I always pick up on. Wow, his own trope.

I have a question and it's probably a silly one. Why does Navi leave at the end of Ocarina of Time? Was her quest done? Was her life coming to an end? Did someone say they didn't believe in fairies? I never understood why she left. Of course maybe if I beat the game (all I have left is to go up the tower for Ganon) and sit through the ending I might understand. Or does Navi leave because Link's history reset and she doesn't know him? Does it explain it in Majora's Mask?

Another question! Sometimes Ganon is killed other times he is sealed but he always shows up again, sometimes as a piggy or a man or what looks like the combination of both. Would that mean he reincarnates like Link and Zelda? I know Link and Zelda have their own descendant line where they show up again, so I always figured it was a reincarnated-descendant. So does Ganon do that too? given he has the Triforce of Power.

Well, Ganon = pig, Ganondorf = man. Ganon is Ganondorf's true form. I think they've always been the same person... And (Skyward Sword spoilers) .
