Which Hogwarts House are you in?

Just wondering how everybody's been "sorted!"

- If you've taken a "sorting hat" quiz, where did you end up?
- If you've never taken such a quiz, which House do you think suits you best?

My results: I recently took the Pottermore test, sure I would be sorted into Hufflepuff...NOPE. Landed in Slytherin. I think it has something to do with being a divergent thinker and not always taking the obvious route to success? Not sure.

(I was kinda mad about it at first, but then I thought, "Well, darnit, I'm just gonna be the most heroic Slytherin ever. Whatever!")

Slytherin, but I was expecting Hufflepuff as well. (I mean, I don't lack ambition but I'd think that being able to work towards my goals without stopping for months would COUNT FOR SOMETHING...)

@DD: YES, seriously! I'm not willing to stomp on people to get my way--I just put my nose to the grindstone and get my ambitious goals done (well, unless I'm sleep-deprived and severely A.D.D., and then I get it done at 3AM the night before it's due while on a chocolate high).

Maybe the "getting it done in extremis" part makes me Slytherin?

Slytherin in Pottermore and on some quizzes. I did try it on two other accounts and I got Slytherin on one and the other got Hufflepuff.

I don't mind getting either of them, but Slytherin is the one I get the most xD

I've always wanted to be in Gryffindor, because I love that House. It's my favorite. I took this quiz, which is apparently a replica of the one at Pottermore, and I got Gryffindor. I remember I also got Gryffindor on another quiz, one that provided these neat little badges you could put on your site when you got your results. However I can't find that one, so it may be gone now.

I think I would also be suited for Hufflepuff, and I actually got that House as a result when I took this quiz. If I can't be in Gryffindor, I'd take Hufflepuff. :)

@Sarah: LOL I got Hufflepuff for both those quizzes...weird! Maybe I'm one of those weird people who ends up in different houses depending on my mood? xD

Ravenclaw! I was so happy when Pottermore sorted me into Ravenclaw. :D I always get it on those quizzes too.
