There's a 1P1M challenge ongoing and I really want to participate despite work and convetion and stuff but there is one problem: I can't choose a subject! I hope you don't mind if I ask you, Amassment, to help me choose. Here is my shortlist, in no particular order:

Elena of the Turks, FFVII
Tentative title: Murder, inc.
Pros: Could double as my BAB shrine, as Elena goes from clumsy blabbermouth to strong and efficient Turk through the game and Advent Children.
Can be later expanded into a Turks shrine.
Cons: Have not played the game in forever.
Need to get and rewatch Advent Children.

Renji Abarai/Ichigo Kurosaki, BLEACH
Tentative title: Stray Dog Under the Moon
Pros: Could be really short.
I love these two idiots and I have lots of FEELS about them.
Cons: I am terrible at pairing shrines.
63 volumes of manga and counting, over half of which I do not have with me.

Queer characters in Digital Devil Saga
Tentative title: The One Word
Pros: Already started!
Already have a plan, a layout and list of characters to include.
Cons: Potentially a controversial subject.
Could end up really long.

What do you think? Which would you most like to see? Other suggestions? Tips? I'm all ears!

Of the three you've posted, I'd vote Elena - it meeting the BAB criteria is a plus because I'd love the challenge to be popular so that it'll be an ongoing thing. 8D I'm only familiar with the first two, and though I'd be interested in the third, you're saying it might be really long... so it might not get finished within a month depending on your workload? I'm certainly interested in it though!

I don't see you not having played FFVII in forever as a problem in this particular case due to her being such a minor character, so looking up the scenes in a game script or on YT is a possibility, plus the FF Wiki is quite extensive if you need more background information of events.

I think The One Word might be really long for a one pager because these characters are so nicely fleshed out and I could talk about some of them for a whole day >> But at the same time, I want to try my hand at the BAB challenge too! And yeah part of the problem is that next weekend I go to a convention (HEE) and then after that it's release rush at work until November so my shrining time is limited... and now that new idea is eating my goddamn mind augh.

Pros: THE IDEA IS EATING ME.
I had already planned to write a tribute for her.
It will be a short and to the point one pager.
It fits BAB's challenge perfectly.
I have a layout idea already.
Cons: SPOILERS: She's a horrifying villain.

I was about to say do the "queer characters from Digital Devil Saga" because it sounds like you've got most of it built already (at least mentally), but now that you have a sudden passion to build the Chiaki site, I say DO THAT RIGHT THE MONKEY-FIGHTING NOW. Surf that wave of feels!! :D :D
