Marathon Brainstorming

Have an idea for a member-run marathon, but not sure how many would be interested? Stuck on a vague concept that you know could be a great event if you could just nail it down?

Have no fear, this sticky is here for just this purpose! Much like the Make This Shrine! thread, this is where you can safely brainstorm and suggest ideas, as well as make requests for future member marathons.

I second both of these and I also think a Tales of marathon would be fun /coughsunfinishedprojectscough/

I was thinking of:

1) Avengers Marathon

2) Star Wars Marathon

I'm tossing around the idea of a Fire Emblem marathon but I don't know how many people would be interested.

I really like the ideas everyone has here so far. Excited to see so many awesome suggestions! Especially interested in a Tales of marathon because there's so many subjects from that series I'd love to shrine.

I'd love to see a marathon dedicated to "live action" subjects (which can include Avengers *and* Star Wars )! I also would love to see some dedicated to RPGs in general, visual novel genre, and maybe a fanlisting -> shrine (can even include A Little More to promote it) marathon for those of us still running fanlistings.

I love this idea! Not series-specific, and sports anime have definitely surged in popularity over the past few years.

Non-Manga comics, perhaps?
