I've seen a few episodes. Didn't really grab me, but I suppose I could give it another shot as I'm like 3 episodes in.

Never seen it. It's got way too many seasons for me to bother starting to watch it. D:

Yeah, I tried to get my family into it but it was too dark for them, but that's probably the reason I like it as well, since sometimes I need a change from romance/comedies.
I like the character's moral/ethical trials and of course watching Dexter catch and get rid of some pretty bad people.
