Hey hey everybody! It's that time of the year again, the time when you can nominate and vote for your favourite fansites. In other words, the 2012 edition of the Fansite Pageant is here :D
For those who are already familiar with the Pageant, there won't be any surprises and you can already begin to send in your nominations. Remember that: 1) anyone can nominate/vote, you don't have to be a member of Amassment…and 2) both Amassment and non-Amassment fansites are accepted.
For those who have never heard of the Pageant, think of it as an opportunity to reward those hard-working webmasters and webmistresses you admire. You can nominate (and later vote) different types of sites and each category (anime/manga series and characters, celebrities, TV series and characters and so on…) has its own award. We also have special awards for the highest nominator (the person who will nominate the highest amount of shrines), and the “Overall Favourite Fansite” category, dedicated to those shrines (one winner, two runner-ups) who have received the highest number of votes.
This event has always been successful in the past and we hope to see a great turnout this year as well. The Pageant is 100% people-driven so your participation is vital for its success.
