@dubiousdisc/Crystal/Nyxmidnight Thank you! ;v; Everyone's so friendly here hfakj I'm very excited!!
@Destinie Ahhh I like too many jhafkhl ;_; Almost anything really - though I guess especially Europe and East/South East Asia, especially pre-20th century!
@Sofia Thank you! And yesss I'm keen on mythology and folklore as well as history, so hello fellow enthusiast! o/ I definitely will keep that in mind!
Hello~
Re: Hello~
@Nomi ah nice! I ask because I like history, too! Mostly anything ancient near-east: Mesopotamia, Egypt, Japanese (Jomon and Yayoi periods, mostly), South American: Aztec, Mayan, Inca, as well as Celtic and Roman. And mainly art history pre-Renaissance with the exception of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. ^-^;;
Re: Hello~
@Nomi @Destinie Most of the people I know cannot understand why I'm interested in "things of the past" so it's great to see there are actually other people who share this interest :)
One of my biggest regret of university is that we didn't have any History exam (I graduated in Foreign Languages) and even though I took History classes in high school we focused mostly on European/American history, almost never dealing with African and Asian history. I was lucky enough to discover online courses, though so I'm finally able to get my weekly history fix ;)

Re: Hello~
I was actually lucky enough to be able to take history during uni! ;v; I specialised in Anglo-Saxon Britain, Salem Witchcraft Trials, Renaissance Florence and Soviet Russian Media for specifics, then 'Identity and Belief' for my more general topic. Independently, I got to do a little more, but I still wish we'd do more Asian/African/Latin American ones! Still, it was very rewarding ;A; I'm always really, really happy to talk about it with others ahhhh I get a bit overexcited ajhka sobs
@Destinie those are ones I haven't really looked at in depth before *A* I'm definitely interested in them though, recently, especially South American and Celtic ones!!
@Sofia Where do you take your online courses from? I think history is very America/Euro-centric, often times, when Asia and Africa also have a fascinating past! The resources are so limited for them though ;_;
@dubiousdisc Yesss! I love those as well, and Nordic! I've to say, though I like myth from all over the world my favourites are probably Nordic and Greek/Roman ones!
