Re: Classic Genre
I'm of similar opinion, but lot of times it happened to me, that it was defined differently, like for example, two authors from the same time, one would be a classic, the other not, because it was not popular or something, and I would be confused, how can this happen. I think some see classics as &...

Re: Currently watching....?
If the immortal green haired girl isn't there I might want to watch it... C.C. isn't in the first episode, but she is shown in the preview for the second (along with Suzaku). Given the storyline overlaps with existing events in Geass canon, it makes sense that they would appear at some point (parti...

Re: Currently watching....?
Yup, but it's a series of 4 x 50 minute movies so there is a long wait between episodes. While the first is out and fansubbed now, the second has only just been announced for a Spring 2013 theatre release. Looooong wait.Eden wrote:There's a new Geass series? I didn't know this at all. :O

Re: October is National Book Month- What are your reading pl
I won't read anything because THAT'S NOT MY NATION AND IT WON'T POLICE HOW I READ! HA! Kidding though, I have a backlog of graphic novels my dad gave me that I should read in either case since I'll have to give them back at some point xD Ahahaha it's not my nation either, we've already had our book...

Re: Classic Genre
Usually classics are regarded as texts included in the Western canon. I'm not even going to touch on the debate as to what should and should not be regarded as "classic" or "high art", but generally you'll find works from antiquity right through into the relatively modern era (Ne...

Re: October is National Book Month- What are your reading pl
I'd like to finish the forty billion books currently sitting on my shelves waiting to be read. Though let's face it, I'm going to be lucky to finish one of the books I'm currently reading -- being a grown-up sucks. :(

Re: Currently watching....?
Watched the first Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito episode the other day. It was a whole lot of sameface and noodle limbs. So, y'know, definitely a Geass series.

Re: Recently watched movies
I also didn't like that in 2 L "disappeared" it was all due to the actors and what not and their excuse was cheap. I liked how J and L worked together in the series. It's difficult when there are problems with actors, it doesn't really matter how you write the character out as while all j...

Re: Recently watched movies
Yeah I love the original so I am kind of worried about this one. I especially didn't like what they did in the sequel. I thought it was so sweet at the end of the first one when K got to return to his sweetheart. And then in 2 he divorced and was working at the post office? Wut?! Kind of upsetting....

Re: Recently watched movies
Yeah, it was a pretty weak movie and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a huuuuge fan of the franchise. I get movies ultra cheap from work, but still, I don't like spending cash on stuff that sucks lol.
