Re: How do you read?
I'm probably an unusual case, since I went from traditional to an e-reader and back again. Re: "Non-Fiction": Pseudo-science and cryptozoology
That's the one! CSI and its parent organization, Centre for Inquiry, do a lot of good work in the secular humanism community. I definitely think you're right about life elsewhere, though unlikely to have visited us as yet. To quote from Carl Sagan's Contact, " I guess I'd say if it is just us.....

Re: Sherlock Holmes
I watched the first Sherlock feature... Seemed too much like Doctor Who (no coincidence - same producers, writers, etc.) Probably not a problem for most folks, but discouraged me from watching further. Re: "Non-Fiction": Pseudo-science and cryptozoology
I'm a skeptic so I don't consider UFOs or Bigfoot real by any means, but as you say, Destinie, they do provide a way to better understand human interpretation, folklore, etc. In fact, I often think skeptics enjoy reading about these topics more than most folks! Pick up the Skeptical Inquirer magazin...

Re: Thank you, Amy Marie (R.I.P.)!!
Amy was an inspirational person - I was very much saddened to hear about her passing in November. Rest in peace, Amy... You'll be remembered and missed greatly.

Re: Marvel or DC?
DC for me! All the members of the Justice League are appealing, but I like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern the most. Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) is my favourite superhero of all. I also like a lot of the company's Vertigo imprint titles. I never really connected with the Marvel characters i...
