I'm not a big fan of the "weird"/oddly proportioned styles of Ren and Stimpy and such, so that's not something I'd miss. I guess that's also what I like about CG and flash. They have no choice (with current technology at least) than to stick to what I like. XD

I also grew up with traditional, though I do like flashy things, so when I rewatch certain shows it's kind of disappointing how "dull" it looks by comparison as it was much prettier in (apparently inaccurate) my memories. I guess my liking for the shows made my imagination CGfy/flashfy it in my head and give it shinier colors than what was really there.

It's so great to see that my mention of Gargoyles prompted this nostalgic thread.
I loved DC animated shows as a kid, and I still enjoy them now. Marvel may be winning on live action movies, but DC has great animated storylines. The noir Batman The Animated Series is classic, Batman Beyond pulled off its concept brilliantly, Justice League had relatively dark story arcs, and the new Young Justice series is entertaining enough for people far outside its intended age range.
Mikari, I feel the same way when watching old animation and looking at old video games. :( However, re-watching shows as an adult does let us catch witty jokes that we didn't notice as a kid. So that's one plus.

Batman the animated series was my first ever favorite series I watched when I was like 3 years old. My mom told me about. She even bought me a Batman doll at that time. lol. I barely remember but I do remember owning a Batman doll, sleeping with it and watching Batman with it. haha. This is so nostalgic

Oh man, I loved Gargoyles! I watched it every morning before school. I also watched the Aladdin series. I don't remember much about it other than Iago was a good guy, and that kind of blew my mind.
