Hm, it's not really what I had in mind since I was thinking to make them all painted and it's not really my style to use something like that, but it's also true that they don't need to be all painted, hmm hmm

Update: I decided to make the layout using multiple illustrations, six of them to be precise. Thank you all very much for your suggestions! :D

I'm working on a layout for a certain site of mine. But the menu background doesn't extent when the content does. So it's like blue then a bunch of white space. So I'm trying to fix that up.

@Cherri did you set the background on repeat? As in: background-repeat: repeat-x.

@Sofia: Of course I didn't. I ended up changing the background colors and I like it better this way. I'll try that next time though because it probably would have fixed it. Thank you. ^-^

You're welcome! It's the first solution that came to my mind without seeing the layout and the .css, I'm glad you've found an alternative way to reach a result you like :)
