Re: Lurker in action
Thanks! I started with it due to Sailor Moon, I think. :> (Sailor Moon was great at introducing me to various things since all the Sailor Senshi are associated with certain colors, blood types, mythological deity, planet, gemstone, etc. @_@) <3

I agree, when it's Yuuko it's always beautiful u.u/ (this avatar I got as a gift, I love it)Lethe wrote: @Saya: Thank youu, I looooove your avatar!! <3 (It's a fact that Yuuko makes any kind of graphic look great.)

Hi Lethe, would you happen to be Lethe from vdex forums? Your name is so familiar - I'm thinking you were either a mod or I bought from your shop a lot.
I am also studying law. We have that in common. Practicing a foreign language is a good motivation for making fansites. The value of knowing multiple languages justifies any reasonable method used to learn it. :)
A Reira shrine sounds great! If you ever want someone to look over what you have, email me. I'm a NANA fan as well.

Yes, I am, and I think we've exchanged PMs on one occasion. <3 If I recall correctly, I was commenting on your Sailor Neptune shrine. :) Allow me to tell you that I've also been in love with your Rinoa shrine for a long time... Especially because of the original sections such as job class discussion and fandom insight - I love Dead Fantasy! *O*
And thank you so much for that incredibly kind offer! <3 <3 <3 <(^___^<)

Wow, you have a great memory! It's coming back to me now. We definitely have the same taste in fansite content - those are some of my favorite sections at Wishing Star. Thanks for the kind words.

Hello there, Lethe! :D Welcome to Amassment!
We really have a lot in common! I'm studying Law, too (I'm in my second year now) and one of the reasons I'm always trying my best to improve my English (it's not my first language either, as I'm Italian) is also to be able to write good content for my shrines. I love Greek mythology and Greek culture to pieces (I studied both the Greek language and Greek literature for years when I was in high school)! <3 I'm also interested in languages - I can speak Italian, English, German (though it might be a bit rusty as I haven't practiced in a while) and I studied both Greek & Latin while in school. Right now I'm trying to learn Japanese, little by little. It will take me a while to be able to speak it/write it, but I still hope I can be somewhat proficient in it someday. XD
I still don't have a 100% finished shrine on my domain either, I have one online with a few sections up and I have lots of projects up my sleeve... XD So hopefully we can both do our best and I hope the community encourages you to finish your future shrines! <3

Re: Lurker in action
Thank you!
Oooh that's many similarities indeed, yay! :D And our countries are even next to each other. o_o I'm about to enter my second year at university, too. :) I've had Latin at school for two years because it was mandatory, but unfortunately, I happened to be in my lazy teenage years, so I wasn't able to do as well as I did compared to French, English and Spanish later. It's a shame because Latin seems like a beautiful language and... I'm admittedly very fond of Latin shrine/fanlisting names haha. It's nice to run into so many Latin expressions again and being able to understand them when studying law though! :D
I'll have to look into your Kai shrine that's in progress sometime: While I don't actually remember anything much about Beyblade (this is what they get for airing anime while I was stuck at school), I know I pestered my contacts on MSN with Kai fangirling back then, and read a loooot of Shounen Ai fanfics with him, too. <_<" I'm not sure I could get into the Beyblade anime again if I tried though... If I recall correctly, last time I looked, the dubs sounded awful and there were no Japanese ones with subtitles available. >_<
Hope to talk with you some more during our stay here. :D

Hi Lethe! I'm so glad you unlurked. Welcome to Amassment!
THE FATE OF DESTRUCTION IS ALSO THE JOY OF REBIRTH.
Re: Lurker in action
Ah, Latin was mandatory for me in school, too... I didn't start studying it properly until I was in high school though (just like you, I've had my lazy teenage years! XD). It really is quite helpful when studying Law! Also, it kind of makes me feel good when there's a Latin word/sentence somewhere and some people don't know what it means, but I can guess its meaning... I suppose knowing both Latin and Italian can be helpful, too! XDLethe wrote:Thank you!

Ahh, it always makes me incredibly happy to hear that someone wants to check out my Kai shrine! ... and it also kind of embarrasses me, because it's still quite empty! XD; I really hope I can finish it in the near future, though. Kai had loooooots of fangirls back in the days when Beyblade was popular and my shrine seems to make fans melancholy when they look at it. XD I tried looking for Beyblade episodes a few months ago, I can't remember if I found the Japanese ones, but it's worth taking a look now, you never know. :) And yes, the English dub is kind of awful... Thank goodness I grew up with the Italian dub, which is pretty true to the Japanese one.
Hope to talk to you more, too! :D
