[MARCH 2014] Shrine Spotlight: Rules and Nominations

Welcome Amassment members to our brand, new version of Shrine Spotlight! The Shrine Spotlight is a time where we get the opportunity to highlight exemplary shrines from within Amassment and the larger shrining community. Each session members will nominate shrines they like but only one will receive the spotlight award.

How to Nominate

Shrine Spotlight runs on the nominations that we receive from YOU, our members! To nominate a shrine all we need is a URL to the shrine. That's it! Simply send a PM to Destinie with all the URLs you wish to nominate for the Shrine Spotlight award!

If your shrine is chosen as the winner, we will ask you to write a short blurb (3-5 sentences) of why you chose this shrine.

Nomination Bonuses

There are COIN BONUSES for people who nominate shrines! And the earlier you nominate shrines, the more coins you will receive.

• If you nominate the first day nominations are open, you will receive 30 coins per URL you send us.

• For each day after the reward will be reduced by 1.

• If you nominate the day before nominations close, you will receive 1 coin per nomination.

Yay, I nominated! I'm so excited to see this feature return to the community! Awards are few and far between in the shrine world these days, and there are some amazing shrines that deserve recognition.

Is there any restrictions for shrine spotlight?
I know some of them are one-page tributes and things, are we looking for more than that, or ...?

Also, do they need to be listed in the directory or have to be done by an amassment member? (I'm guessing all of the shrines are linked, but maybe not?)

Good questions! To clarify:

• Any size shrine can be nominated, even one-pagers!
• The shrine does not have to be listed in the amassment directory
• The shrines does not have to be done by an amassment member

Anything goes as long as it is a shrine! Several non-amassment webmasters have won in the past. :)
