Soul Dew

Hello Amassment! I've actually been working on a couple of totally different fansites, but the new year came and I said to myself: hey, I need a break from what I've been doing, I want to go make a Latias site. So I did!

I forgot how fun Pokémon sites are. This was such an enjoyable little project that broke up the groove of what I'm been working on. Now I just have to keep myself from making a bunch of other Pokémon sites, whoops...

Yay! I love the visual touches with the Picdex and artwork, and you've got a TON of information as well as the story of how you got to catch your Latias. Awesome work! (I also like the cursive script you use for the nav and headings! :D)

Your Pokemon shrines are always awesome and I especially love Latias! Also that prototype. It totally makes me think Blaziken too lol.

Okay, now I'm done reading through it. Good job. I always love how you write.
Am I hallucinating or do I recall that you've been wanting to make something Latias-related for fucking forever now?

A few thoughts -

On the goes invisible part: Hey, but what about the Devon Scope? Can it only reveal Kecleon? It says it reveals invisible Pokémon!!

On the Emerald entry: I think they meant that, while YOU can only catch only one Latias and Latios per game, there are other individuals somewhere else out of the reach of your Pokéballs, and they live together in a herd of a few members (say, five Latias or Latios). That's my interpretation at least. It seems to happen a lot with unique Pokémon - even though you can really only find one in each game, the descriptions and then the movies often point out that they are a whole species with many individuals. See for example Entei - you can only get one, but then the Pokédex goes "It is said that one is born every time a new volcano appears" (Silver).

Yesss I'm so glad you included that picture of the fucking Latiasken or whatever that is. LET'S TALK ABOUT THAT...

I didn't know about the IV glitch. :O

Thanks guys!

@dubiousdisc: I've loved Latias foreeeever, this is just me finally getting around to doing something about it C:

And okay: I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE DEVON SCOPE. Holy shit, I JUST played Omega Ruby too. What was I thinking?! I'll have to change that part, haha.

It really seems that way with legendary Pokémon! I've been watching all the other movies for the hell of it and it certainly seems like the legendaries might just have one "special" one in the games but they're part of a bigger species we don't actually see. The 7th movie totally shows two different Deoxys running around, for example! Pokémon is weird like this.

I had no idea Latiasken was a thing until I made this site. I always find the weirdest shit on Bulbapedia when I make Pokémon sites.

Thanks for all your comments

This is super cute! I loled at the picture in the origin page. You did really well keeping track of Latias' appearances in the anime and games. It's an awesome site. :D

Aaaaah, such a nice layout, was the first thing I thought while checking it, and then I fell intoit and read it. As always your way of writing catches me on, and I really like how subdivided the content :)
