And YAY, finally had time to read it :)
I love the way how you show the love for the subject :) and in this shrine it really shows. Aside that I also love the layout.

I actually read it in parts; today I managed to finish it - I really liked the favorites section :)

Congrats on opening this, Crystal!! I know how long you have been working on it and your hard work really shows. It's a great read. I love the Defense page because I feel the same; it gets annoying seeing female characters being bashed because they aren't the "right" kind of strong. I also loved the Favorites page because it is a nice mix of being informative and personal. The layout is gorgeous, too! Those colors. *_* Also the font you used for the title is really neat.

Awesome work and congrats again! <3

Thank you Sarah! <3 It really does. I hate seeing so many female characters get bashed just because people think they aren't "strong". Zelda is plenty strong. She just shows it in a different way.

I love the colors too. I don't even remember how I got those anymore as I made the layout months ago, back when I first started on the shrine lol. I got a lot of new fonts when I switched to Dad's old computer and I had to use it. I really like it. :D

Looks great, Crystal! I have some suggestions but knowing all the different Zelda games I could see how this would be really huge! I can see you wanted to keep it to the core of Zelda but there were some things that I was pondering:

One thing that I would like to see is maybe an essay for each Zelda in each game. (Crazy, right?) But I think that might be really cool to see how different she is and her role in each game. She kind of drives the story in every game. I'd also think it would be really neat to talk about Hilda somewhere in there. She isn't *quite* an alter-ego but she is Zelda's Lorule counterpart and I think that would be neat to talk about the contrast of the two.

And of course there is always Zelda from the wonderful (/sarcastic) Legend of Zelda cartoon. That would be interesting to highlight too as she is generally the more capable one.

In relationships, or something like it, I think it would also be interesting to talk about her and Ganon/Ganondorf. Especially in Ocarina of Time when she was familiar with Ganondorf visiting her father in Hyrule Castle. And there respective roles in each game and heroine/villain. What drives him in capture her? What stops her from preventing it or breaking free? Or even more interesting, the dynamic between the trio (Link, Ganon, Zelda).

Just my thoughts. Really enjoyed reading through it. Again, looks lovely! Great job :)

I've thought about talking about her roles in each of the games but it just felt too huge and intimidating (that page actually became the favorites page), plus I have not played every single game (writing about Hylia was tough enough because I've never played Skyward Sword). It is something to consider for the evolution page when I get around to it though.

I wanted to keep the shrine specifically tied around the video games and manga just because those are what I'm most familiar with. I have no current intention of covering anything from the cartoons. It is something to consider for the future though if I decide I want to ('d have to find them first).

I'm not sure why I didn't think about adding her relationship with Ganondorf or something with Hilda. Those are definitely something I should add to the site. I also thought about adding her relationship with Midna just because I found it interesting.

Thanks Destinie! :D

Sure, Crystal. ^_^

I like the idea about also adding the bit about her and Midna, I think that would be interesting. I thought that their interaction in the game, though short, was kind of powerful. Now it makes me want to play it again even though it didn't grab my attention as much as some of the other games in the series.

And I can understand you purposefully leaving out the cartoon incarnation because wow. That was a special time.
