Antimatter

Post by Tara »

After a very long and unexpected hiatus from shrine making, and after having it sit on my PC since August, I finally finished my shrine to Giratina! Antimatter was a lot of fun to make. Giratina still today remains my favourite legendary Pokemon, and I hope I did 'em justice. I had to fight with my FTP and my PC to get this online tonight, but I'm glad I finally did!

Awesome! Striking layout, with informative but not overwhelming content, plus lots of personal touches scattered throughout :) Makes for a triumphal return to shrining! :D

The only problem I have is the navigation is on top of the content when I have my browser in full screen but other than that I absolutely love this. I'm so glad you finished it! <3

(Also you should link my Pidgeot shrine *shot* 8D)

Congratulations on making this! The layout is gorgeous, so yeah, you are right to be proud :D

I wasn't aware of its possible connection to Seta, so I even learned something here, hurray!

Welcome back! It's a gorgeous dark layout, but I have the same problem as Crystal on my huge work monitor.

Beautiful, Tara! I'll be sure to link you when I get a chance. I like the Blurb on Seta and would be interested in reading more about that. Time to do some googling! ;P

I think I discovered why the navigation is overlapping the content. Those of us on wider monitors are seeing this happen but if you shrink the window size it seems to fall into place. I think if you had a container div for the nav and body content you would be able to avoid the navigation overlapping. Right now the relativity of the layer is affecting the view.

Thank you everyone! Crystal, I'll add your Pidgeot shrine right away. <3

As far as the layout, I'll get to it soon. I'm sorry it's affecting those with bigger monitors. :swt: I'm not very good with divs, so I'm gonna have to do some research to fix it up. Thanks for letting me know. (It does mess up on laptop, so I'll probably try fixing it from there, since it has a bigger resolution than my PC.)

Good luck! You just need to make a new div, name it "wrap" or something similar, and wrap it around your layout. The opening div should be at the beginning and the closing at the very end. Then in your css, make "wrap" a fixed width, like 800px. A few of my sites do this. Feel free to look at my coding.
